I already got my problem taken care of, no thanks to your "Elite" experts. I paid $9.95 for nothing. Your experts couldn't give me a straight answer; whereas I got a simple explanation from an employee at a local Auto Parts store. I think should pay me, because I supplied your experts with the explanation incase they ran across another situation of the same caliber. If you check out the attachment you will see just how simple it is. And the original horn button on the steering wheel works all four horns at the same time.

Recheck the settings. I believe you can do this threw the radio. I have seen to many computers that just loose their programming. PCM's wipe clean. Can't say why. Just did. Had them programmed and all was good.

Bf falcon horn

A horn with a single wire connection will be earthed out internally and through the body fixture. Horns that have 2 connections are either internally earthed as explained and the second terminal is to pass the power over to a second horn . . If both terminals are under the one rivet and insulate from the horn body then It is used in parallel with a second horn If the terminals are separated and attached to different areas of the body and are insulated from the body then one will be an earth wire.

Can anyone give me a straight answer on how to wire a horn on a 92" s-10 4x4 Blazer? I`ve gotten as far as taking the steering wheel off and thats it!

no need to take of the steering wheel.. locate the old horn.. then remove it.then put the new horn. if the old horn has only1 wire its ok. then the new horn has 2 wire. just body ground the 1 wire[no polarity] choose any of the 2. to the body gound or join the brack of the horn together.then the other to the original wire of the old horn

Horn on 2005 taurus does not work and the answer posted is not clear how do you check if the horn has power?

You would need to test the wires with a voltage meter. You will have to get to the wires that go to the horn and test them for power. A bad horn fuse can also cause this, as well as a bad horn button.

Hello hthmases: My name is Roger and I will help with your question> The horn fuse is located in the fuse box under the hood. The fuse is in location (R) in the box. Look on the cover for the location it will be a 15 amp fuse and blue in color. If the fuse is ok I would have some one push the horn pad while I listened for the relay to click. The relay is located on the left fender in the corner to the right of the master cylinder. If the relay does click I would suspect a bad horn. If there is power at the horn its self the horn would be bad. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. Thank You for trusting Fix Ya for your answer . Roger

2 problems with my 1997 Elantra I cannot open driver's door - I unlock door, pull on the handle, and door won't open. I have to roll down the window and open from the outside. Also, my horn died.

clip might of broke for the rod to the inside handle or the whole inside handle needs to be replaced. you need to remove it and inspect it. for the horn it might be a connection in the horn pad or a broken horn. plug an ohm meter to the wires that plug into the horn and press the horn pad. if you get a reading then your horn pad is good. try jumping power to the horn if that works its good and its your wiring. or try checking your horn fuse first before anything.

Toyota Tacoma '03 horn sticks

If you are getting water in the fuse box, it could be shorting the system out and in turn the horn would blow. Some manufactures put 2 fuses for the horn too. One for the horn and one for the horn relay. That is another one, maybe the relay is bad or wet. Hope i put some light on your answer. Good luck!!

Non working horn

There are a few things that it could be.

The horn is defective. You can test it by hooking 12v to it directly.

The relay is defective.

The horn switch is defective

The fuse is blown.

There is no power to the circuit.

First check fuse.
Second check horn.
Third check horn switch or bypass switch to test
Fourth check relay.
