Hello sounds like a vacuum line or electrical connection somewhere near the blower isnt plug in fully connected retrace what you did look realy good around the area you were at you could have accidentley hit off a vacuum line on the diaphram for the door pull goodluck

Hi its depend on the noise if its a humming noise or a vibrating noise you simply might have leave in the blower motor the blower motor its like a hamster wheel when you got leave or debrie it unbalance the motor and come its that a noisy vibration that wheel turn very fast the motor need to be remove and clean and if the noise stop and come back that the motor itself need to be replace and for your feet and defrost sond like a broken vacuum hose open the hood on the passager side neer the fire wall on the ac system wire go inside the car look for a little black pipe that the vacuum hose that make your ventillation work follow it to the car engine and look if its not boken good luck pierre and ty on using fixya

AC blows cold air, fans stop blowing

I think you have a "variable speed resistor" problem, it's overheating. It's an electronic device usually located near or attached to the AC motor blower that controls the fan speed. This is a common problem with aging AC blowers with electronic controls.

Air not blowing out dash vents

There is a resistor that goes out on the odyssey and pilots for the blower motor. Does it blow on full speed? Is it both front and back that don't work?

It sounds like whatever your dad did needs to be un-done. If you are getting hot air then you don't need to replace the blower or any part of it, it sounds like something is just wired up wrong. I would ask you dad what he did and if he can change it back.

My heater fan was making noise but was still blowing the hot air out. Now it makes no noise but blows no air out. I assume the fan/blower motor is bad. How do I replace it?

your blower mototr stopped turning , the noise you heard was one of the cage weights came loose and put the blower cage off ballance, first you need to locate the blower fan and check to make sure it has 12 volts, if so then you need to use a jumper wire to ground the other wire going into the blower motor, if this turns the blower motor on then you have a blower motor resister out and need to replace it.

1993 Jeep Cherokee blower/Heater Issue

Your blower motor could be "clogged" but I never saw one with enough debris in there to actually make one stop/ The cure for both is to remove the blower motor from the air box. if you find tons of leaves in there, clean them out. If the shaft on the motor has lots of side play, or will not run when connected hot to battery, replace it.

Blower for AC/Heater stopped working

if you can reach the blower motor, it could be a worn out carbon brush of the blower motor. if they are, buy a set of carbon brush, learn how to replace them and it would be back running in no time. by the way, when you pull out the carbon brush holder, make sure you dont interchange the position. you can put them back wards and what would happen is the rotation will be reversed. either you reversed the carbon brush holder or just simply interchange the wires that are coming to the motor. i hope i was able to help...
