AC is charged and ice cold thru defrost n floor vents, no air/heat/anything coming from dash vents. HELP!

The only air flow is through the defrost system. No air any where else. My repair shop has replaced the "control board" twice for the same trouble. It did fix the problem for a short time but is back again for the third time. Each time cost about $ 300.00 to repair. Not sure if any vacuum hoses where replaced or not. They only listed the dash control replacment on the bill?

If you only get air blowing from the defrost & foot level vents check & replace the hard plastic vacuum lines under the hood with rubber vacuum line. That will fix your problem

I have found that hard plastic vacuum line, but it is broken way in the back of the engine compartment. I can barely fit my hand in there to touch it, and cannot find where it goes to, or what the line is called to order a new one.

My 2001 deawoo laganza has no heat and when you try to switch vents, the control knob moves, but will not switch to floor or defrost, just blows out front vents.

Your control doors under the dash are not operating. Don't know if they are cable operated or vacuum operated. You have to get under the dash to find the problem, and maybe pull out your control assembly on the dash to see the problem. Sorry, not much help.

I HAVE A 2002 FORD TAURUS 3.0 ENGINE. MY AIR ALL OF THE SUDDEN HAS STOPPED COMING THROUGH THE VENTS, BUT STRANGELY ITS COMING OUT OF MY DASH VENTS. I HAD STOP LEAK AND FREON INSTALLED AND STILL NOTHING,...

If you cannot change the air flow from the heater vents, defroster vents, to dash vents, etc. as your control switch indicates the problem could be a loose vacuum line. It could have come loose from the engine under the hood. If not you will need to remove the control from the dash and check for vacuum at the control. If you have vacuum there you will need to replace the switch,

Vent selection not working After the transmission was rebuilt

They are controlled by vacuum ... a line must have been disconnected or broken when the trans was replaced. Remove the dog house and look for a small vacuum line broken or pulled apart.

1994 GMC P/U's cruse control no longer works. Appears no power. Checked fuses in panel but no fuse by name of ''cruse'' and all fuses OK. Need diagram or schematic and/or help troubleshooting.

Does your turn signals, high headlight beam work? Also, does the AC function through the dash vents and not the defrost vents?

My cruise control quit and I found it was the vacuum lines running to the servo.

Air is always blowing throgh the defrost and the floor vents

the ducts are selected by tiny actuators inside the dash and are small flaps that move to cover holes. sounds like they have broken, dash has to be removed to access the air control box and from there see if they are loose
