Jeep grand cherokee 2002

My daughter in law has one of the above, recently the electric windows stopped working, the air conditioning doesn't work properly and the dashboard light is on all the time all these faults happened at the same time. The car was taken to a specialist who insisted it was the switch pack on the drivers door, this was replaced yet the same problems persist. The so called expensive "memory box" has been tested and that they say is OK, all fuses have been tested and they are OK PLEASE can anybody throw any light on this,

Had a similar problem, traced it down (after browsing a lot of help forums) to a broken ground wire in the passenger-side door wiring harness. Don't know why such a minor thing should cause such major problems, but when this wire breaks, all hell breaks loose with electrical equipment all over the car; and it's hard to figure out because the problems seem to wander around to different components at random. Like guest above said, pull the rubber tubes back off the harness to each front door and look for the large black wire. In one or both doors, you will probably find this wire has broken leaving an intermittent connection. Feel along the wire carefully and you will probably find that there is a "crimp point" where the break is. Peel the insulation back a half-inch or so in both directions at the break point, solder in a piece of 12-gauge or heavier wire between the two ends, tape up well, fit the harness cover tube back into place, Presto! problem solved. This would probably cost a pretty penny at a dealer. Enjoy!

The electric windows on 1993 Jeep Grand don't work.

You would have to take the door panel off to take the window motor off, then run jumper wires to the window motor terminals. If the motor doesn't turn, time to get a new one. But more than likely, if all the windows don't work, it may possibly be a fuse. Also, you might want to check the window switches, they do burn out. I have had to replace a couple on my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Thats your blend air door. . .I had the same thing with my 02 Grand Cherokee and I think ALOT of other people have as well. I took it to the dealer and ended up costing right around $800, because they have to pull the dash apart to get to the blend air door.

02 jeep grand Cherokee 6 cyl seems to idle too high. When stopping ,vehicle wants to keep pulling forward and have to apply brakes harder to stop vehicle. Very troublesome in snowy conditions.

check for vacum leaks using a spray bottle of water  when the idle frops you found it  if water wont work try starting fluid or carb cleaner  if useing these the idle may increase  when you find it  replace/repair the hose and see if its still happending  could also be a combination of things  idle speed control motor idle air control motor  mass air flow sensor  good luck
