I accidently put power steering fluid in the cooling fan container in my 2000 Lincoln LS and have driven it several weeks. Should I be concerned?

THAT IS NOT A PROBLEM, YOU CAN USE TRANSMISSION FLUID ALSO. JUST DO NOT PUT IN BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR, THAT WOULD BE HUGE PROBLEM.

Since my 2001 Lincoln LS (v6) does NOT have a transfill tube...

You have NO reason to top off ANY fluids,if you think about it. If you had a leak, you would repair it. Fluids don't get consumed. You can do whatever you want,it is your vehicle. On the LS and most fords the instructions are on the bottom of the trans oil pan. The fill,is the plug on the tail housing. You have,to have the correct filler container and a compressor,to blow it in, or make up one. Mercon V -on the fluid. You have to put the car on 4 jack stands,to get under it, and better know where to support it. I have a 2004 LS and it isn't very easy to work on. I assume you have issues,or the trans shop wouldn't have been mentioned. The solenoid trans pack, fail on these, as well as the TPS,EGR,and many Ignition coils. Change/flush the Power Steering Fluid. Regular Mercon, not V. Don't forget the Cabin Filter, under the plastic wiper cowl cover, pass side. Gas filter behind driver side wheel well, plastic cover, remove tire first. Push on release with fingers, don't pry up with screw driver?

Where do you check to see if the transmission fluid is low in my 2001 Lincoln Ls? Could not find the dip stick when I looked under the hood.

No dip stick on a Ford. Not many anymore. Instructions on bottom of trans pan You better change all your vehicles trans fluid every couple years, like the old days (1970's) or you will be very sorry when the trans goes. Also flush the power steering, as soon as you read this. No vehicle fluids get low UNLESS there is a leak, Then you fix the leak. Flush the brakes also, on all your vehicles.

Location: Coolant Temp Sensor 2001 Lincoln LS V6

It is on the Driver side of engine in between the COP's (Coil on plugs) simply unplug the wire use a 19 or 3/4 deep well socket and unscrew it and put it new one... The whole process should only take 10-15 minutes.

Where is the power steering fluid unit found?

It is actually on the passengers side near the engine wall the pump and reservoir are made as one You will need a flash light follow the drive belt down past the alternator to the powersteering pump look for a black lid with a yellow steering wheel on top. The whole steering system takes only 3/4 quart of dextron automatic transmission fluid so do not over fill.
