- my cigarette lighter is not workng in my 2006 bmw 300i. i found a glass cylinder fuse lying under the dash on the floor but when i removed the fuse panel there were no glass cylinder fuses (all metal prong/plastic push in type) -- is this a coincidence? and et why won't my cigarette lighter work now? please help!- loryobxDec 16, 2008

Look at the fuse layout for one that looks like + ---> -; that's the one for the cigarette lighter. On my 535 it's fuse # 87, a 20 amp fuse.
