Question about 2000 Ford Focus
Always having to top up the fluid every 4-5 days, leaks out onto the concrete, had steering rack replaced 6 months ago, have old steering rack, where a mechanic says he has to spray clean the area and use a compressor to find out where it is leaking from. Dont know if I should use the same mechanic as he made me pay $350 for the last steering rack replacement. But dont know what it could be? What do you think I should do?
Yes, Check the end of each hose for damage, it must be smooth in order to create a seal. Good Luck.

Tighten all hoses, one in and one out on steering box, and one in one out at the other end.
