Bought a used Landrover Discovery, 1996 model 2 months ago from Japan. Two days earlier the engine started okay. Its not starting now. Charged the battery, cleaned spark plugs and air filter. Could not get to the fuel filter because don't know where located in the vehicle. Please assist with advise on likely cause of this problem and what should be done to fix it.

Don't run premium fuel (lights harder) Light weight oil like 5- 20 synthetic helps some, however,an engine heater would be best, simple to install, keeps everything warm, heater gets hot in seconds, engine life is prolonged.
does it have fuel pressure? to find this out get a can of spray starter fluid from a auto parts store, spray it into the engine air intake, if the engine starts you most likely need to replace the fuel pump which is located in the fuel tank.
if this is an automatic there will be a dip stick if it is a manual you do not use transmission fluid to find out what sencor is bad take car to advance auto parts they have a digatal reader and can tell wou what sencer went bad and where it is located
Make sure there is voltage going to the fuel solenoid on the pump, i did the same with my landrover and it just would not start or would start and just cut out, turned out to be the wire going to the fuel solenoid was not working, just re-wired from a wire behind the dash board that supplied enough voltage, that when the landrover had started the wire then supplying voltage.
Just check by putting a multimeter on the fuel solenoid wire and turn the engine over if the voltage drops to below 12v then it`s most likely the same problem i had.
