At the front of the dr. side head is a small plug that is connected to the cam position sensor. This could be bad. This particular sensor work together with the crank position sensor which is found if looking from the pass. side between the engine and the trans. There will be a plug and a small bolt that holds the sensor into place. The cam and crank sensors both have to be working together for your car to start.

Have a 1999 chrysler seabring coup started fine yesterday morning drove kid to school came home put brakes on it started it pump the brakes few time put n reverse died wont start

HI,THAT IS A USUAL ISSUE RELATED TO THE ELECTROMAGNET WHICH IS ENGAGED ON "P or N" position.Charge your battery overnight, try your handbrakes,if they work fine, just leave the car in whenever you stop and put your handbrake on.This won discharge then the battery unless there is a unrelated electrical fault in the system.

I have a 95 honda civic ex,wont start.ran fine yesterday,wont start this morning.battery is fully charged,new cap and rotor.would do u think might b my problem

if it wont turn over 1st check the ground s on the car and the battery 1st. your battery can be fully charged and the car will not start even over night this can happen. then look at the starter. Note: if you have over 109K on the car and the timing belt has never been replaced you will need to have this checked as well.

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Sport it just won't start. It cranks, that's it. It was running fine yesterday.

If it was running yesterday and only cranks this morning you need to determine which you are missing - spark or fuel. The spark is easy - pull a plug and let it spark to the frame. while cranking. If you have spark then you have to start checking the fuel system.

My car was running fine yesterday and this morning it didn't start. got a new battery, replaced the oil and checked the fuses. everything is fine but car still won't start. suggestions, please

Check for spark and fuel. When you turn the key on you should hear the fuel pump in the tank for a few seconds till the pressure builds up. When you crank the engine there should be spark at the plugs.

What would cause it to run fine yesterday, start up this morning, then just quit? it will start, run a few seconds, and quit. the fuel pump is working.

This issue could be related to many factors. Fuel pressure, no spark are possible causes, just to neame a few. Verify these two important things and comment back.

Have a 97 Grand Voyager i just bought yesterday. Started and ran perfectly fine. I got up this morning and now it won't start. Starter turns just fine and fuel pump does come on.

You would need to check the fuel pressure but try turning the key on and off a few times, this will prime the fuel system, if the fuelpump has a bad check valve it will drain the fuel down and then it will take a few trys to start, but if you tried starting it a few times then thats not the problem. you hear the pump but this doesnt mean its putting out enough pressure, try holding the gas pedal down and trying to start it and see, maybe its flooded. good luck.

2002 Chevrolet Suburban won't start

go to the back of the truck near the gas tank and listen for the pump to run while some one turns the key to the on position not Start but on. If you do not hear the pump it is probubly bad.
