Question about 1995 Honda Accord
I have a 95 accord with the 2.2L - 4 Cylinder motor. Car runs like a champ except when I turn on the A/C. The engine speed does not increase to over come the compressor drag and idles roughly.
I believe there is a A/C boost valve to increase the idel when the A/C is on but I cant find where it is located on the engine.
The idle air control valve should be located directly behind and a little bit below the Fuel rail that supplies the injectors depending on the date of manufacture. If it is not located there, look straight off the passenger end of the fuel rail. In any case it should be locate immediately after and in the fuel path after the unused fuel leaves the fuel rail to return to the tank.
