00 lincon navigator 5.4 oil pressure drop's low and light comes on , engine idles rough when pressure drops ,then pressure return s to normal range ,light goes out ,engine runs perfect. Is it my oil

Sounds more like an engine idle issue than a oil pressure issue. If the engine idle drops too low, the oil pump cannot provide sufficient oil pressure. If there is no oil light when the engine is idling normally, then there is no problem there.

Oil light stays on when giving it gas goes off when idle

The oil pressure sending unit grounds the dash light bulb around 5 psi so as engine speed increases oil pressure rises keeping the light off the engine bearings have excessive clearance if pressure is low.

Why does my oil light stay on when giving it gas and goes off when idle

the oil sending unit grounds out the dash light bulb as engine speed increases the pressure rises and turn light off normal idle hot oil pressure 30-40 psi. if low then engine bearings are worn.

Oil light comes on when car idles

The light means the oil pressure has dropped below 10psi.
You could replace the oil pressure switch and see if the light stays off, or have the pressure checked with a mechanical gauge.
Make sure the engine oil level is full.

Oil pressure light at idle

when the light comes on at idle do you notice any engine noise different from the norm.if not then the oil pressure sensor(ops) is bad/weak and will need to be changed.if you hear abnormal noise with the light on then you will have to have teh oil pressure checked to see if its within specs.

Oil pressure drops and rises,, I have checked the sending unit, does theoil pump have fiber gears?

No, the oil pump has steel rotors. The oil pressure is supposed to rise and fall a certain amount, it's normal. As long as the warning light is not coming on at idle, you should be fine.

Oil pressurer loss ford bronco2

It's normal for the oil pressure to fall off at idle as it gets warmer because the oil gets thinner. It should operate between about 20 and 60 lbs. If it drops below 10 lbs at hot idle, you may have some bearing wear or a worn pump.

Oil pressure fine when i start car. when you drive for a little the pressure will drop and rise any solutions.

Depending on the range of rise and fall, this is completely normal. Oil thins out as it gets hot so you will notice the pressure drop significantly at hot idle. A typical value would be 20psi, then as the engine revs up, the pump creates more pressure because it can now keep up with and exceed the leak-down or bleed-off from the bearings. The maximum pressure would be limited by the relief valve in the oil pump which could typically be as high as 60psi.
