We have a 2004 Honda Civic that makes a roaring noise the faster the car goes - doesn't affect the performance of the car.

Where does the "roaring" sound like it is coming from? Can you feel any vibrations anywhere in the car? Under the seat? At your feet?

2004 civic hybrid p0700, p0717 my car don'ts walk

the P07 codes are TRANNY.
errors from the TCM (tranny brain)
your tranny is sick.
check all fuses.
that is a hybrid, take it to handa and get that very complex car fixed.
got a CVT tranny, if you dont know, then you only have 1 choice.
take it in.
my guess is its a reg. A/T transmission (planetary gears)
700
Engine running and the PCM detected an Automatic Transaxle fault.

My 2003 Honda Civic hybrid vibrates/shakes from 0 to 5 MPH when I accelerate. Should I be concerned?

Yes. Cars are not suppose to shake and rattle and roll until old. Get your hybrid checked out by your professional mechanic at the earliest opportunity before there is damage to your vehicle.

Roaring noise when car idleing

Quite possibly the air conditioning compressor clutch bearing. I've seen a couple of these go bad now. Have the belt removed and see if the noise goes away.
