Where is the battery in my 2008 chevy cobalt? Is the battery in the hood or the trunk?
I have called wal-mart and they do not carry the battery?
How much should I pay for the new battery?

In the newer Chevy Cobalts the trunk release button is usually located to the left of the steering wheel instead of the glove box.----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Car cable & OBD Connector
the battery of your cobalt is located in the trunk of the vehicle. first place i looked was the hood and to my surprise it wasn't so i looked in my owners Manuel and read that it was located in the trunk.
I would recommend hooking the charger up right to the battery which is located in the trunk under the carpet.
You can hook up the charger under the hood to the remote jumper postivie post and to any ground. If I remember correctly there is a strut bolt right next to the remote positive post.
Either way will work but I'd go with the first one.
If you want to do this the Correct way, Go to www.Schoche.com and Put your cars Info in and it will tell you which Kit and Harness to Purchase. Wal-mart carries these and may have the ones that you need. So, After you look them up call wal-Mart and check. Cheaper this way Also!
it is not a battery in our engine it is all the fuses i thought the same thing pull the black cover off and you will see there is only one battery and it is in the trunk
