The bearing might be a hub assembly in a Taurus, but it is a press in unit on a Focus. I have done it myself.

Buy a service manual...and no, the bearing is in a complete hub assembly that you have to buy. And Tauruses rule. Miles,....300,000? Oh yeah

In process of replaceing rear passenger wheel bearing . does it require a hub puller to remove the drum ?

no, but the drums are often stuck on a ridge ffrom where the brakes wear into the drum. Go to your ford dealer and have him check to see if your car is included in 00S31 recall to replace wheel bearings. Free.
