Question about 1995 Chevrolet Lumina Apv
Window energized down but now neither switch will rais up....replaced both switched with used....no luck fuse ok....now what
The motor may be slipping may have died or simply came loose can you hear any sound when you try to roll the window back up?? if you ever think you have a bad switch dont replace it simply jump the wires to see if it resolves it if it does then the switch is bad if you still have the same issue your problems are else where, Check ALL cables and see if you can find any loose connections use a 12v testing tool to see if the wires are hot and if the current will flow when pushed then have a helping hand push button while you check to see if your motor is getting power. the testers are like 14 bucks at walmart and are sold in a car stero install kit looking thing, other wise just use a multi meter

Use a circuit tester to test the switches. You can test both switches from the right side door. Gently pry the plate holding the switch up and out of the door with a flat blade or screwdriver. There are several wires coming out of the switch. Five large gauge wires control the motor. The center wire is hot. Two of the other wires come from the left hand switch and the remaining two go to the motor. Find a good ground. Test each of the five wires. One wire is hot when pressing the UP button on either right or left door (Check both sides). One wire will show hot when pressing DOWN button on either door. These are the wires that go to the motor. If you have power here you will have to trace those wires to the motor.
Remove the door panel: Two screws inset in door handle. One screw under plastic cover on top front of door panel. Two screws on bottom of door panel. Remove cover around door latch handle. Pull the panel straight up.
Hope this helps........
