There are at least 3 thermostats on your vehicle: One controls the electric cooling fan for the engine and its sensor is on the front radiator, the second is the passenger heating thermostat located under the dash board regulated by the switch on the dash board, The third is the thermostat housed in the cooling lines that opens at 180-190 degrees located on the top of the block water jacket where one of the heater hoses connects to its housing.
Its is located exactly where the lower radiator hose connects to the engine. To remove the thermostat we have to remove the air filter housing . The thermostat is held in position by means of two bolts.
