Hi my 4x4 a.w.d does not work,98 lincoln navigator, onley the rear weel work,hi2 ,you could hear it changed ,but the front weels does not pull, the a.w.d lite does not flash, can you please help me.

If your 4x4 Hi lite comes on when switched to that, then it could be a vacuum leak on the front wheel(s). Check the vacuum hose to each wheel for cracks. With the engine running ( apply the emergency brake) turn the wheel left or right you will be able to see a small black hose connected on the back side close to and just above the drive shaft, remove the hose and check for vacuum. If the hoses are OK, then the whole locking mechanism has to be removed, there are O'rings that deteriorate and have to be replaced. It could also be the locking mechanism is froze up with dirt.Try locking unlocking them manually to free them up, do this with the engine off.

Need to remove cover arount stearing weel but ignition need to come out first how to take ignition out

There are 4 holes in the bottom of the steering wheel column cover. 3 of them are the screws you removed.
The 4th hole ( towards the ign cylinder ) is the release pin.
Turn the key to the Run position
Insert a punch or drift in the hole, while pulling out on the key, it should slide right out if you have the release tab pressed in far enough.

Remoing air bag from steering wheel to fit new light switch fiat idea 04 plate

OK... the very first thing to do is to disconnect the battery for at least 30mins, do not attempt to do this with the battery connected...BOOM! you'll have the airbag go off! when the time has elapsed.. peel back the steering wheel cover to expose the detonation device, carefully remove and this will expose the steering wheel nut! take this off and you will be able to remove the steering wheel. easy job! just be careful.
kind regards
