I did a tune up on my 2001 chevy silverado 1500 4.3 and its still having problems turning on and then when it does it shakes, and sometimes when i come to a red light at break it wants to turn off. Thank you for your time hope to hear from you soon.

Robert, have vehicle scanned for diagnostic codes. Check for vacuum leaks and if you have not done recently give vehicle a complete tune up cap,rottor,wires,plugs,filter's,etc, including injector/throttle body cleaning. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

i got a 2001 silverado 1500 and it wont start it turns over and fires and .... Put the key in and the truck barely starts due to the battery being weak. .... Do you have normal fuel pressure and spark ?

check wires to pump,may be grounded;if not the pump is bad. quite sure its wiring

Have the spark plug wiries been changed? Do that and make sure you clip the wires back into the loom holders, replace any broken loom brackets.

This could be either a bad headlight switch or dimmer switch. Sometimes the dimmer switch gets dust inside it and causes these symptoms.

The thermostat is in the hose on the passener side of the waterpump.It is in the part that has the three 10mm bolts.Please rate my answer, Thank you.
