2003 dodge dakota quad cab cranks no start

Start with the fuel system. Spray some starting fluid into the throttle body. If it starts, then it is a fuel problem. Check fuel pressure and find out why . If that is ok, check spark. Use a scanner to help locate the problems.

check the compresion in all cylinders 100 psi (compression good) check the spark -check the fuel pressure.30 psi at gauge with switch on.(if no keep pressure with switch off injectors or fuel pressure regulator are bad
check the signal to the injectors (get little injectors tester at autoparts) if no signal check the ground to the injectors black wire
or the other wire (computer)= good signal to injectors and good fuel pressure and good spark (defective injectors)

My 1997 dodge dakota v6 3.9 auto 4x4 wont start replaced the ecu computer it will crank but wont start

Check for spark, and for fuel at the manifold. The ECU will not prevent you from cranking, but it does control fuel and spark.

1997 dodge dakota want start in morng finly get it to crank ran fine till shut it off now next morning want start

First check to see if you have spark at the sparkplug then if you have spark check your fuel pressure it should be between 44-54 psi with key on engine off also ,check fuel filter for restriction. If pressure is below 39 psi then replace fuel pump. But if you don't have spark at the plug then there is a ignition problem. ( coil, ignition coil pickup )
