Filler cap is same as the check stick. if you are standing in front of the car looking at it, it will be on the left, straight down to the rear of the radiator. most of them are yellow in color and very short

Vsa,brake, abs linght on and D flashing when I turn on key

You need to have the vehicle scanned for fault codes and then the causes of those codes diagnosed.

You will need to have this car checked out by a professional with the right diagnostic equipment for Hondas. The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)***, brake and ABS warnings may just be due to a failed sensor or sensors but you need to have a proper diagnosis carried out so the causes can be identified and any failed parts replaced.

The flashing D light relates to the auto transmission and may well be a caused by a faulty sensor on the transmission or something else. The correct scanner should throw up any fault codes being generated. In the meantime if your Accord model has the engine bay filler tube and diptstick for the auto transmission , check your fluid level in the auto transmission.

Where can I find the the automatic transmission fluid filler on a 2006 1.4 Honda Jazz and how do I drain off the existing fluid?

If it has a dip stick to check the level it will be around the transmission end of the engine .Accredited auto transmission shops have a suction pump and hose that fits down the dip stick hole to draw out excess oil . Find an accredited transmission shop with experience in your make of car and talk with them to get some idea of what is involved.

HOW DO I FIX THIS CODE P1738 AND P1456? RECENTLY HAD TRANSMISSION REBUILT AND RIGHT FRONT AXLE.

Best to clear the computer codes & see what codes if any come back. You will need a scanner that can clear codes to do it .. Or if there is an Auto Value around you they can do it.

If P1738 returns I would bring the car back to the transmission shop.

I put the code details below.

P1738: Problem in 2nd Clutch Pressure Switch Circuit

P1456: Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected Small Leak

- Missing Fuel cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
- Incorrect fuel tank vacuum relief valve
- Leak is in line between intake manifold and EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve.

Where do u put transmission fliud in at

  • There is a little plug on the back of the transmission.
  1. Have car running.
  2. Place emergency brake on.
  3. The plug on the back of the transmission is I think 8mm. Just above the pan, remove it.
  4. If fluid comes out it is full. Plug it until next time.
  5. If fluid does not flow out then it is low. Using Mercon V Transmission Fluid and a funnel with a hose on it add fluid in that hoke until the fluid just barely seeps out the whole. Then it is full.
  6. Plug the transmission.
  7. Done.

I have no gears forward or reverse. My Vehicle is a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Hemi with 170,000 on the clock. Fluid is clean and full with no leaks. I have the following trouble codes:...

Your scanner will give you the code but it will not tell you how to fix your vehicle. Scanners basically tell you what systems to check or what systems are failing.

These are what your codes mean:

P0700: Transmission Control Module
- Shorted or open circuit within transmission control module (TCM)
- Failure of transaxle control module. This is just a informative code.

P0734: Gear ratio error in 4th gear
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Shift solenoids
- Transmission mechanical problems
- Transmission hydraulic control circuit

P0732: Gear ratio error in 2nd gear
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Shift solenoids
- Transmission mechanical problems
- Transmission hydraulic control circuit

P0731: Gear ratio error in 1st gear
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Shift solenoids
- Transmission mechanical problems
- Transmission hydraulic control circuit

P0871: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor Switch C

P0876: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor Switch D

Emissions Codes:

P0400: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction
- Harness or connectors (EGR volume control valve circuit is open or shorted.)
- EGR volume control valve stuck closed
- EGR volume control solenoid valve
- Dead (Weak) battery
- EGR temperature sensor and circuit
- EGR Valve

How to fix :
- Clean EGR Valve
- Repair EGR harness or connector
- Replaced EGR volume control solenoid valve
- Replaced EGR volume control valve

P0440: EVAP Emission Control System Malfunction
- Missing Fuel cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
- Incorrect fuel tank vacuum relief valve

How to fix:
- Retight or replaced fuel tank filler cap
- Replaced damage or leaking EVAP canister

P0456: EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Very Small Leak)
- Missing Fuel cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
- Incorrect fuel tank vacuum relief valve

How to fix:
- Retight or replaced fuel tank filler cap
- Replaced damage or leaking EVAP canister

P0441: EVAP Emission Control System Incorrect Purge
- Missing Fuel cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
- Incorrect fuel tank vacuum relief valve

How to fix:
- Retight or replaced fuel tank filler cap
- Replaced damage or leaking EVAP canister

Based on the info check your EVAP system. I would check for leaks and maybe replace the EGR and the canister.

For the transmission check the TCM also you may need to take it to a mechanic though.

Hope this helps a little.

possibly 2 solutions 1. manual transmission --probably clutch fluid. find out where it is, fill it , and make sure the cap is closed exactly like you took it off. if it's not closed clompletely, pressure won't be able to build up. 2. auto trans-- transmission fluid..note there is no dipstick to check fluid.
