Question about 2001 Pontiac Bonneville

Don't have a manual, need to identify a warning light

There is a big red circle with an exclamation mark in the middle that started to light up today and comes on every time I start the car. Does anyone have any idea what that is? Afraid to drive it right now.

Hi - no it's not the parking brake BUT I discovered when I turned the car on today that it says "air bag"....????? and has the big red circle and exclamation mark.

I have another problem posted here about not being able to unlock all doors but driver's and no windows working except drivers. Could this all be connected with the air bag red warning light somehow? Appreciate your help very much.

Warning message

If you mean a circle that looks sort of like a gear with an exclamation mark in the middle, it represents the Transaxle fault light.

Warning light came on---it's a circle with 3 dashes on each side. I have no owners manual...anyone know what this means?

If there is an exclamation mark in the middle, then: "Your brake pads need to be replaced.  There is actually a sensor wire that breaks when the pad is ground down too far, interrupting a circuit to warn you of imminent pad failure. Found an answer here:" (source: http://wiki.answers.com)
