How do I keep the MASS AIR FLOW sensor working

this sensor has to be in the air flow in order for it to work. there fore you will have to install it in the cold air flow intake before the intake. you don`t say the year, make, model, engine of what your working on or even if this system has the MAF in the intake manifold or the air intake hose. if the wires are connected properly and no bad connection and the hot wire in the sensor is clean there is nothing to do.

Whats the advantage of a cold air intake on a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3L

Installing a cold air intake kit like a K&N or Airaid will actually do both, give you a horsepower gain and better fuel mileage. you will notice better throttle response and you will not need to give it as much throttle to go the same speed as before and therefore you should see an increase in gas mileage(if you dont go hotrodding around!).

My traction control light came on after installing an Volant cold air intake on my 2006 CADILLAC XLR V HELP ME PLEASE

Most likely the air induction probably needs to be programmed into the ECM. But also you may have jounced a wire that has a connection to traction control and it is setting it off. Otherwise, you may have a standard trAction control problem that has to be addressed in the shop.

Is a airflow meter for v6 1993 camry needed? I am trying to put an cold air intake, but im not sure if i can remove the airflow meter or not. also any help on intalling a cold air intake on the car would...

You MUST have the air flow meter installed on your vehicle. The car will not run if you remove it. The Air Flow Meter measures the amount of air coming into the engine, and also the air temperature. This information is sent to the fuel injection computer, to determine the proper fuel to be injected. In reality, cars with "air-flow meters" do not really "benefit" from a cold air intake, due to the inherent restriction that the air flow meter causes, as it measures the air.
In short, I would not install the intake, you won't see much benefit. The graciousness of a FixYa rating for my assistance would be greatly appreciated..
