Clear Oil leak on Mitsi Mirage 1989

Hello, clear oil leaks out at the very front of the car and leaves decent sized puddles on the garage floor. I am not a car-minded chick at all! Can you please help?

Could the clear oil actually be water?. if it is leaking out in the area around or behind the passenger side front wheel on hot days, it is probably water from your A/C, system. it has an overflow or drainage pipe, as the process of cooling the air dehumidifies it and produces water. just a guess though

1996 chevrolet impala ss oil leak rear of engine

Is it engine oil or transmission fluid? Is it driven often or does it sit in the garage? If engine oil, then possibly the rear seal is leaking into the bellhousing as you drive and then draining on the floor after you stop. If ****** fluid, then possibly front seal on ****** is leaking. If car sits for long periods of time the input shaft seal can allow fluid to leak past the shaft. This usually will fix itself when driven. Can't promise it will fix itself permanently. Will not be an easy fix if either seal needs replacing (or cheap).

Oil leak in front in front behind bumber mitsubishi gt 2004. it seems its leaking from an orange it looks like a coffee cup in size that's screwd on.. Was never leaking until yesterday , after i put oil...

When changing the oil it is important to wet the sealing o-ring with oil before screwing it on. Tighten the filter 3/4 turns after the seal touches the engine. Most oil filters have clear installation instructions on the box or actual filter. Look carefully , if your oil filter is leaking, Take off the leaking filter and replace it with a new one. Top up the engine oil as needed.

Transmission oil leak, clear fluid on passenger side , when ever car stops

Probably Air conditioning condensation (normal) or rain water build up in wiper motor area due to leaves or other debris clogging the drain tubes. If its leaking in car the drain tube into the engine compartment is plugged up. Just needs unplugged with compressed air or a piece of wire.

your rear main seal is probably bad. the reason it only leaks after sitting awhile is that the oil in the motor has finnaly all drained back into the pan and has hit the level of the breach in the seal
