Question about 1998 Dodge Neon
Need to change fuel filter do i have to change fuel pump in order to get to the filter.
The fuel filter on the neon is right on the pump itself the pump is on the passenger front side of the tank it makes it alot easier to remove the filter if you drop the tank

I doubt you will have to change the fuel pump it should be located under the car between the tank and engine possibly more less toward the tank.

Tips for a great answer:

The 98 and 99 neons don't have a fuel filter, they have a fuel screen that is right in line with the fuel pump. If your car is not starting and blowing fuses for the fuel pump, you will need a new fuel pump.
