Question about 1996 Volkswagen Golf
I have a golf MK3 2L convertable when i dive it and the heating gage on the clock goes half way the engin shuts down for about half an hour. i have been told to change the koil and the feulpomp relay i have but broblem not solved, i have realise that the radeator fan does not come on that is the next thing am about to change. please help me if you have the answer to my problem thanks. bruce
One major cause of a hot engine cutting out is crank sensor failure. The sensor overheats, the engine cuts out, and then once everything cools back down the engine will start and run again.
Another possible cause is the O2 sensor.
A live scan would show up any problems.
