Question about 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88
My 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88... after it has been sitting, when I turn the key it "starts," puffs right to life. But immediately it dies. A second attempt to start gets only RrRrRrRrRr. If it had a carburetor I'd say the choke pulloff doesn't work. But it's fuel injected. I can't see anything that looks like a choke or a choke pulloff. No check engine light.
If I press the plunger on the fuel rail Shraeder valve I get plenty of fuel out.
No obvious vacuum leaks on top of the engine.
Same symptoms with air filter removed.
Most of electronic ignition has been replaced last year.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
