If the sound is coming from the right, it sounds like you solved your own question, the right wheel hub is the problem not on correctly or something with there. If not helping can you give more of a description?

Yeah that's what I thought to, but the sound is still there. I had the truck in the shop in May and it had an axle seal blown causing it to smoke real bad on right rear wheel. They put a new axle seal in and replaced the caliper because the oil had stuck the caliper and messed it up. I jacked up the truck under the rear end. With both tires off the ground I put in in drive no sound. I put transmission in reverse and still no sound. I checked the play in all four wheel hub assemblys and found no play. Is there any thing elese it could be. Its only roars when moving.

What is this roaring sound in the front right axle

If the roaring sound get louder at highway speeds try veering side to side in your lane safely of course to see if the roar noise changes, this would indicate a hub & wheel bearing assembly issue and would need to be replaced.

Roar on the right side

Its probably the left side, not only because you replaced the right side, but because it changes on right turns.
When you go into a right turn, the bearings on the left side are under more pressure and torque.
The front hub bearing goes bad more often than the axle bearing, so I would expect it to be the left front.

I have the same problem with mine, I also had the same problem with a ford explorer, they told me it was the transfer case which has to do with the hubs. it jumps into 4 wheel drive then when you hit 2 wheel it stops.. Always had a problem with this in both of my SUV's.

Had left front hub replaced this spring. My

Sounds like a bad tire or rim to me. If you don't hear any roaring, or the hub is not loose or bent, it should be good.

Wheel noise or roar in front end with increased road speed

THIS NOISE IS USUALLY THE HUB. HAVE SOMEONE GO WITH YOU ON A TEST DRIVE. GET THE ROARING TO HAPPEN AT ITS LOUDEST AND GENTLY SWERVE THE CAR LEFT AND RIGHT. DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU THINK BOTH HUBS ARE BAD. LIFT THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND PUT IT ON JACK STANDS. PULL OUTWARD ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TIRE WHILE PUSHING INWARD ON THE TOP OF THE WHEEL. IF THE WHEEL MOVES EXCESSIVELY YOU FOUND THE HUB THAT IS NOISY. USING A MECHANICS STETHOSCOPE YOU CAN SOMETIMES HEAR A ROARING TYPE NOISE ON THE BACKING PLATE SIDE OF THE HUB WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND THE TRANS IN GEAR. TRY NOT TO GET THE SPEED UP TOO FAR ESPECIALLY IF YOU CAN HEAR THE NOISE AT LOW SPEED, YOU DON'T WANT TO VIBRATE OFF THE STANDS.

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier front End Roar

You must replace wheel bearings in pairs to avoid loading the old bearing and, in time ruining your new bearing hub it is possible that you have already damaged the new hub
