firstly what is the number of diagnostic code?? (P0???)
the (IAC)idle air control motor locate in the engine near the intake manifold it have a 6 pin connector:-
the 2 & 5 is 12 volt supply from fuse box
the 1,3,4&6 is from (ECU) engine control unit
it function is control the idle speed of engine

Most likely the fuel filter is contained in the fuel sender assembly inside the fuel tank.

Check again on your diagnostic report. The error code P0505 is the idle air. If the characteristics of the current problem was resolved by the replacement of the idle air control valve I would assume that either the connection is not reliable or the new unit has also become defective.

From your description of the problem you had changed the idle air control valve and the problem was corrected for a while. The error code indicates that the problem has reoccurred. Check the warranty on the replacement part and return for replacement. It is likely the replacement has failed.

Possible defective/sticky idle air control motor. It may also be caused by a dirty throttle body/plate causing minimum airflow to be off. I would suggest cleaning the throttle body/plate with carb cleaner to see if the problem corrects itself. If not, the IAC may not be working properly and causing this issue. Is the check engine light on? If so, scan for any codes that may pertain to an idle issue and repair as necessary

How do you fix an idleing problem on b2300 mazda truck?


What kind of idling problem ? An what year Mazda ? Idle is controlled by the engine computer via a IAC motor , idle air control valve or motor, what ever Mazda calls there set up ! Or if a fairly new vehicle, they use drive by wire or electronic throttle control . With the idle air control set up passages get plugged an don't allow enough air to by pass the throttle plate causing stalling problems . A vacuum leak can cause a ruff unstable idle an stalling also . A dirty throttle plate can cause idle problems as well ! A scan tool ,not a code reader is a very use full tool to check engine data parameters. With the scan tool you can view idle air control counts . The throttle actuator control (TAC) motor is controlled by the powertrain control module (PCM). The DC motor located in the throttle body drives the throttle plate. In order to decrease idle speed, the PCM commands the throttle closed reducing air flow into the engine and the idle speed decreases. In order to increase idle speed, the PCM commands the throttle plate open allowing more air to pass the throttle plate. If the actual idle RPM does not match the desired idle RPM within a calibrated time, this DTC sets.

This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC P0506 Idle Speed Low

There is a digital stepper motor installed in the idle air control valve and it is operated by the ecm after taking all the outputs from various sensors.
Check engine light error code 33. The idle air control valve circuit open or shorted to ground. There could be three possibilities which can trigger this code and the check engine light comes on.
1. Check the wiring harness for open circuit or short to ground. Check the idle speed control valve connector for looseness,corrosion of poor contacts. Jiggle the harness at various places to find any damaged wire.
2. Idle speed control valve defective. (replace. Merely replacing the electronic part of the valve can also solve the problem)
3. ECM defective. (replace)

Check accelerator cable, idle air control system and idle speed control motor(ISC), air intake setting and sensors, check the vacuum system. Scan the PCM for diagnostic trouble codes. ISC, vacuum leaks and air intake problems are the most common cause for fast idle on this car.
