Question about 2003 Toyota Tacoma
I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma and my blower motor has gone out. How do I change it out? I don't want to pay the HIGH fee the dealer is charging, especially if I can do it myself. HELP????
The blower motor is located directly below the passanger glove box on the right. Its a round flat plate with 2 small screws holding it in place. All you need is a screwdriver and a pair of wire cutters (the wire cutters totally depend on whether the replacement is factory or not.) Simply unblot the existing part and replace it with the new part. If you have purchased an aftermarket part you will need to cut and attach the factory harness pigtail to your motor. Also the replacement part I purchased didn't come with the blower wheel, so I had to remove the old one and place it on the new motor. Works like a charm! Easy install and best of all....I have air after 2 years without!!
