Question about 1996 Pontiac Grand Am
I have a 1996 pontiac grand am se that has the air bag light on. I had it hooked up to diagnostics and they said no numbers are coming up and don't know what the problem is. What could the problem be?
I just got a letter in the mail from Pontiac saying that if the air bag light is staying on then the air bag sensor, which is on the passenger side, may be bad.If any water has touched the sensor, that may be the cause of the light to be on.They also said that if it's on than your air bag can deploy at any time.Even if you haven't gotten into an acccident.I have the same problem and I am looking into the sensor for the air bag.You should do the same.Hope this helps you.
