I'd appreciate any advise you can give me on my 97' cadillac deville. I bought it a year ago and a couple months after, there has been a slight popping sound in front end when turning in either direction. Now there seems to be or feels anyways that the front end is about to come out from underneath. Any suggestions on what all to look at? I (try?!?) and do/fix/repair stuff on my own and truley would appreciate any help.

Re: Wobbly front end w/ a pop noise when turning
On the wobbly have the tires inspect for posible broken belts, or rotate the tires and if gets better that means you have broken belts on one or two tires and need a new one, and on the poping just have it inspect for an auto repair, you can fin one here for your area in the home page just look for services and type your zip code

It sounds like they didn't get the cooling system filled completely, there's an air bubble. I had a problem with a 2000 Oldsmobile overheating, it turned out to be the aftermarket thermostat. I bought a stat from GM the problem went away.
i have a 1989 cadillac deville 2 door front wheel drive i just changed the fuel filter in it and i pour fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank. when i pour gas in the carberator it gives a little start to the car and it started the car but it wont stay on. i just bought a new battery for it but i havent tried it out yet just because the positive wire going to the battery was bad so i cut the wire and gonna put a new wire for it do you have any suggestions what is wrong with it. it has been sitting for a couple years.......and it does start it just turns over......
I had the same thing on my 96 sedan deville and it was the sway bar bushings. Everyone said it was the stabilizer link bar but I replaced those a year ago with the good $160.00 (2) ones. I bought them at caddy, auto zone, murrays, advance, none of them had the originals so please don't waste your time with that **** if they are bad. My bushings cost 65.00 at cadillac. Hope the info helps.
You probably have a bad axel, which is not too hard to change and costs around 100 bucks, or it did a few years ago when I changed mine. It will come with both CV joints, which is where your noise is coming from. I have also ha to change the front bearing, which is about 200.00 and can be changed by a home mechanic as well.
if its like a humming noise front wheel bearing has to be change most of time when you go straiht and turn the stering on one side noise less the other side more noise bearing noise go to a shop hopeit help fixya our post
