Question about 2002 Saturn VUE
If it hasn't been driven for a few hours it starts no problem but if it is driven more than a half hour and is turned off it won't restart. tried iso-heet and changing the fuel pump relay still does it.
I did try what you are saying. I also did think it may have flooded. However, it not make any difference. The Vue still did not start. I was informed by a satrurn mechanic that for some reason, I still am not able to understand, the thermostat is the cause for the issue?????? Very strange, and I will be amazed if this does correct the issue. The temp gauge is reading normal when the car dies.

You might want to check and see if it's the fuel pressure sensor. if you have a fuel pressure gauge hook it up. if not drive the car till the problem happens. then shut the car off try to restart it if it only cranks try flooring it then cranking it if it starts it's your fur=el pressure regulator. they cost about 100 bucks for your particular car. the reason it won't start is that when you shut off your car fuel is still being sent into the car which in turn floods the engine. let me know if it solves your problem
