Cranks but won't start

If it hasn't been driven for a few hours it starts no problem but if it is driven more than a half hour and is turned off it won't restart. tried iso-heet and changing the fuel pump relay still does it.

From what I have been informed, the issue is caused by a faulty Thermostat. I did get the thermostat, just have not changed out yet, will let you know if it does correct the issue.

I did try what you are saying. I also did think it may have flooded. However, it not make any difference. The Vue still did not start. I was informed by a satrurn mechanic that for some reason, I still am not able to understand, the thermostat is the cause for the issue?????? Very strange, and I will be amazed if this does correct the issue. The temp gauge is reading normal when the car dies.

You might want to check and see if it's the fuel pressure sensor. if you have a fuel pressure gauge hook it up. if not drive the car till the problem happens. then shut the car off try to restart it if it only cranks try flooring it then cranking it if it starts it's your fur=el pressure regulator. they cost about 100 bucks for your particular car. the reason it won't start is that when you shut off your car fuel is still being sent into the car which in turn floods the engine. let me know if it solves your problem

Audi a4 2.0 lt 2006 engine cranks but wont start . started this morning no problem . half an hour later no start . no warning lights on dash

The first thing that you must do here is to have the systems computer checked for fault codes, it should have a few in memory. the codes are read through the diagnostic port under the dash.

Car will not start sometimes after driven, and then sits for 30-60 minutes.

If it's an old dodge could be a neutral safety switch, if it's a Ford it's your module.

Wont start takes hours to start again

.When the injectors leak they flood the engine and holding pedal to the floor or waiting hours for fuel to dissipate. See if you have spark and fuel when it wont run. If there is no spark check the electronic control module under the cap

Our 2003 Saturn L200 turns over, but won't it's not getting gas. This just started happening and only after we've already driven it that day. The first time it happened was...

Check fuel pressure at the injector rail. If good, suspect crankshaft position sensor--when it fails to start, check for sparks by pulling an ignition wire off the coils and holding it close to the coil with an insulated tool while someone cranks the engine. If no sparks, replace the sensor.

Engine won"t turn over(crank)

I ran into this once also, and I remember that I just disconnected the battery for about half an hour.

Try that if you haven't already.

Yes it does. Let the glow plugs warm up for 7-10 seconds (the light on the panel should go off) and then crank the engine. If the weather is cold, half an hour of running does not warm up the engine completely so you need to use the plugs for the first few startups during a cold day.
