Question about 2001 Chrysler 300M
I have about 120,000 miles on my car......over the last month my car will sometimes hesitate to start or not start at all for a few minutes. I have been informed that I need a tune-up or a fuel system flush. I need help to try and figure out what could be causing these problems and exactly what I may need to fix. Please help I need to go to work in the morning and my car just over heated about twenty minutes ago.
I made it home by following the guide book that the car comes with and turned the heat on full blast and the vents to the floor but what now.
I had an overheating problem with my 2001 300M....removed the thermostat two years ago and have never had a problem since....it does get cold in the Winter but warms up enough so you don't freeze. I don't think most service centers know that the thermostat goes in BACKWARDS from most cars...due to the coolant coming through a small line through the head....which often gets clogged up...thus the thermostat doesn't work properly. I just decided to remove the thermostat and have had no issues with the car driving it that way.
