The AC works when I turn the key....not turn the car on but just turn the key. When I turn the car on it doesn't work. What I mean by work/not work is that it does not blow air. And the same goes for the windshield wipers. I took a look at the fuses and I replaces a few and found that some were missing and it didn't help. Last but not least if you press the brakes the HORN blow.....yes I said the HORN.
It sounds that main problem is the fusebox and fuse and amperage rating for each fuse. I would suggest you that take an scematic of fuses and remove each fuse compare with factory rating and if OK reinstall it back in fusebox. HORN issue is little bit different issue. For HORN blowing it is usually problem with horn mounting and wear of horn mounts. Horn will sound on use of BRAKES or driving over BUMPS. Temporary solution is take an or two business cars fold them and installed them between horn mounts and horn.
I hope that this helps

1) Key turns but dose not unlock door. This means that the rod that goes to the back of the lock has came off. This also means that is the reason door is not unlocking with the remote as it pops the lock rod inside the door which pushes the lock open. 2) Key does not turn lock at all but works passengers side door. This means that the locks has been changed in the door, but that doesn't sound like the problem as you say the remote doesn't open the drivers side door so more than likely the rod has came off the back of the lock
CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL FUSE.MORE LIKELY FUSE BLOWED BECAUSE AC COMPRESSOR COULD HAVE FAILED IF LOW SIDE IS OVER 100 PSI. THE REED VALVE PLATE IN COMPRESSOR PROBABLY DAMAGED CAUSED COMPRESSOR FAILURE BLOWED THE HVAC CONTROLS FUSE. HAVE AC SHOP CHECK IT OUT.
no the ac compressor doesn't have to work for the defrost to work. All car maker have to have a default to a safe condition. So that means if your ac fails the defrost will still work. I will take longer to defrost your window
It means your car needs an oil change, based on mileage. If you take your car to get the oil changed, they can reset the light for you. If you want the light off now, try holding in the odometer reset button, with the key on but engine off, until little dashes appear then one by one dissapear. This procedure may need to be done either on the odometer total mileage or trip A mileage or trip B mileage.
Step 1: Have car off.
Step 2: Push and hold in trip reset button.
Step 3: While still holding button in, turn key to ON, but engine off. Wait for the little dashes to appear and disapear. If it doesn't work on the odometer setting. before turning key off, switch to Trip A setting. If the procedure doesn't work on the odometer setting or Trip A, try Trip B setting.
Step 4: Turn key off. Then start car. Maint. required light should be off.
yes, if you can figure out which terminal is what, you will be able to jump. Be carefull dont send 12v up the wrong wire or you will fry computer. I would pull relay out and jump at the compressor pigtail, its much safer, and the car dosn't need to be running, all your checking anyways is that the clutch is working which should give a click sound every time you tag 12volts.
