With the bose sound system you have to bypass the audio system through the factory amp. the factory is located behind the right side of the glove box.

There is a code for color!? ok, wait im searching...
found it! here you go, hope it helps...

Wiring color codes are the identification colors that color the wires in your automobile. For example, if you have a British car the blue, blue and white , and blue and red wires are for the headlights. The red and white wires are for the instrument lights, and the green and white and green and red wires are for the turn lights. The color code simply identifies what that wire does. Could you imagine if all of the wires were the same color. You couldn't identify anything in a harness.

Hello......can anybody give any solution for this problem : my VGA Cable disconnect from the 15 Pin gents connector of Crt monitor of philips model no. 107E61 I want to fix it but I could not understand...

These connectors come with 15 pins and 9 pins. But be carefull, the nine pin connecter uses a tottaly different color code. Thats for an oldschool gamepoort or midi connector. But I think the vga connector has 3 rows of pins total of 15. But the nine pin connector has probably two rowes of pins. And thats no vga connector, but an connector for an serial port.
If it has three rowes (see Fig-2 below) but uses 9 pins then its an RGB instead of VGA.

Wont commnicate for inspection

Check all the fuses and I mean all the fuses. This is generally caused by the OBD II connector not having power on pin number 16. Pin 16 is the last pin on the shorter row of the connector but, you have to know the orientation. If you look at the connector on the car, READ THIS CAREFULLY, if the connector is wider at the top, the pins are numbered from left to right. The top row is numbered 1-7 and the bottom row is 8-16. If the connector is wider on the bottom, just invert the above instructions. Check to see if the connector has battery power to pin 16 and ground on pin 5. DO NOT GO PROBING AROUND THE OTHER PINS!! If the vehicle is running and the MIL light is on when the ignition is turned on and goes off when the vehicle starts, your problem is probably right there. Let me know how you make out.

Tried to start 2001 chev blazer, would not jump from another vehicle, wont start put it in neutral , rolled back vehicle then started, does it whenever it feels like it, new battery, alternator, etc ...

I'm using this older report to include an attached photo of the Connector that plugs onto the Neutral Safety Switch...Note that the top row has 4 female pins...These are signal wires for the transmission and not involved with the starting contacts of the switch...The switch has more then one set of contacts because it performs multiple tasks...We are interested in the bottom row of 3 female contacts...The 3 wires have the following colors; Black/White= the chassis ground input...Purple and Purple white= The Neutral/Park Safety contacts...It is these two wires that connect when the switch is closed when placed in Park or Neutral...When a new connector is installed, as you can see, all the wires are White and are spliced to the factory colors...The two outside pins in the bottom row of three pins (not the one in the middle) are the Purple and Purple/White wires...Push the points of two safety pins into the rear of the in-place connector into the two outside slots until they touch the pins that the wires are crimped to and connect a multimeter set on the X1 ohm scale to these two safety pins; Put the shift lever in Park and then Neutral (key OFF) You must read zero ohms as in a dead short...This proves that #1...The contacts are properly closing...And #2...That the wiring is correct...When in Park/Neutral Battery is supplied to the Starter Relay Which pulls allowing the Starter to run...send a comment

My daihatsu sirion abs light was always on what is the problem and how to fix it

Hi, the light is basically telling you that there is a problem with a sensor or the sensor circuit. Find the eobd 16 pin plug and bridge the fourth pin on the top and the fifth pin on the bottom row with the ignition off. Now turn the ignition on and the light will flash and display codes. The series of first flashes indicates tens n the second series shown after a longer pause between flashes. Eg code 21 would be 2 flashes then a pause and one flash thereeon. The codes can be gotten from toyota nation. This will direct you to which sensor is faulty. Once the repair is done pump the pedal eight times and the light should blink constantly. Now turn off the key and pull out the bridging wire. Enjoy!!

When using a jumper wire to retrieve ABS trouble codes on a 2002 Trooper 4 wheel drive how is the DLC numbered? I mean which pins do I jump? And when I do jump, Will the ABS light flash te codes....

ok, there are 16 pins in the DLC you want to jump #4 and #12 as you look at the connector from left to right top row is 1-8 bottom row from left to right 9-16, both rows the 4th pin jump them together. then count the flashes all codes are 2 diget ( example flash-flash pause flash-flash = code 22 )

Engine will not start. I have 55lbs fuel pressure, I have good spark. I changed the computer ,no help. Changed the distributer no help. I plugged a 194 dome light bulb into injector plug wire . light will...

Bobby, when you say you cleaned the injectors, do you mean you cleaned the tips that go into the intake, or the end that connects to the fuel rail? Pull your injection rail (fuel rail) and crank the engine over while it is out and see if fuel is spraying from the injectors in a cone shape spray, sounds like they are clogged, if you cannot remove the clogs by cleaning then they will have to be replaced, you can get them from a used engine or buy new ones. On the upper drivers side of your engine compartment you will find a diagnostic connector, there will be two ends close together, one has two rows of pins 4 pins in the top row and 2 pins in the bottom row, install a jumper wire between the 1st pin in the second row and the other plug, which has only one pin, turn on the key and count the check engine light flashes to retreive fault codes should all be two digit codes, let me know what codes you find and I can help.

Need to locate door ajar curcuit on 2002 F150 Super Crew

The door ajar wire is the Black w/ Pinks tripe wire, on the SuperCrew the driver's door is solo, and the other 3 are are in the same input to the GEM.

The passenger's side kick panel ( the plastic that covers the Fuel inertia switch ) is a connector C206, right above C203. There is another smaller looking connector above C206, and some small 2 pin ones shown back there, along with 2 ground lugs in the side of the cab sheet metal.

C206 is a square 16 pin connector, 4 pins by 4 rows.
C203 is also a square 16 pin connector, 4 pins by 4 rows.

The higher of the 2 connectors is the one you want, the Black w/ Pink stripe wire is in the outside column, 2nd to the last from the side farthest from the tab.
Looking at the connector with the tab on the top, the outside column should be ( from tab end ) :
pin #1 : Dark Green w/ Orange Stripe
pin #5 : White w/ Light Green stripe
pin #9 : Black w/ Pink Stripe <- This is the one for all 3 doors
pin #13 : ( bottom ) White w/ Light Blue stripe wire

The connector is numbered on the top row, under the tab ( that is why the pin #s are spaced out reading down the column ).

The wire in the door is in a loom, it is coming from the door latch ( that is where the switch is at ), so it might not be obvious.
It should not be in the connector for the door lock switch ( that is Pink w/ Black stripe wire, not the same ).

No power to radio but fuse is ok

You will need to remove your radio to check this. They have 2 different radios for your vehicle. When you pull out your radio that is how you will tell. One will have 16 pins in the plug for the radio or it will have 7 pins for the plug in the radio. If you have the radio with the 16 pin connector the your power wires are pin # 7 a yellow with a green tracer wire and pin # 16 an orange with a black tracer. Your ground will be pin # 8 a black with a green tracer wire. If you have the 7 pin connector then your power wires are pin 1 a orange with a black tracer and pin # 3 a yellow with a green wire. Your grounds will be pin # 2 a black with ayellow tracer and pin # 6 a black wire with a green tracer if you have all of that then the radio has probably failed.
