Question about 1995 Mazda 626
My alternator started over charging intermmitently and turn on the battery light. i would turn the car off and start it back up and it would be fine. just recently it started under charging so i replaced the alternator with a rebuild. now it stll under charges and i lost my battery light on the dash.could it possibly be that i just have bad alternator or an electrical problem
One simple thing yu can try, with the engine off, open your fuse box and pull each fuse and plug it back in several times.
I won't take but a few minutes and since your car is a few years old, you may have some poor contact that is causing the problem.
Also, if you live in an area where salt is used on the road, it would make sense to locate any grounding points exposed to spray, loosen and spray them with WD-40 or similar, then tighten them again.
Flaky grounds can cause all kinds of mysterious random problems.
Those things don't cost much and can often cure odd problems.
