I'm dealing with the exact same issue on a 2000 Solara. From the internet research I've done so far I've learned that the P0135 code indicates a failure of the heating circuit in the O2 sensor. If you've already replaced the O2 sensor (as I have) and still get the code, chances are that the problem lies in the wiring between the EFI controller and the O2 sensor, or with the ECM (engine computer) itself. There is a diagnostic procedure to determine the cause, but it's not for the average do-it-yourself mechanic. If you're uncomfortable with in-depth diagnostics, you may want to pass this along to a Toyota technician. Good luck.
Update. I just learned that I was given incorrect information from the parts department at Pep Boys. It turns out that "Bank 1" refers to the 3 cylinders closest to the firewall on the Toyota 3.0 engine. Bank 1 always refers to those cylinders that count cylinder #1 in its firing order. Pep Boys originally told me that Bank 1 was the "easy" one to get to, closest to the front of the engine. Not so. I'll be replacing the correct O2 sensor now to see if that clears the CEL.
