SOURCE: Ac Problem

Maybe it's a problem with the fuse or the termostat, look i don't see a real problem your a/c is balanced, its really good.

SOURCE: ac problem, passenger side is cold driver's side is not.

Hello, Here is a way to ck the codes in the climate control system.
Ignition ON
Temperature selector Left Hi Right Low
Within 20 seconds, press REST and EC simultaneously for more than 5 seconds
The LED in the car flashes and the display di A
Press auto repeatedly until all DTC's are shown. Record all DTC's
Each malfunction (short circuit, open circuit, etc) has a specific DTC
The letter "E" (error) is displayed in the left of the display and the DTC is displayed in the right of the display. By pressing the AUTO button the next DTC stored in memory will be displayed
To erase, This is only possible after all DTC's are read out
Simultaneously press both AUTO buttons for more than 2 seconds
"d" will be displayed on the left side of the display window and "FF" on the right side
The only problems that I can think of that will cause this problem are as follows;
006 right heater core temp
020 right duo valve
I hop this helps. CYA Gator241

This is never a good story. Look hard for used ones as a good used unit aught to be fine. Don't know that you have already done to get the problem fixed but the standard ideas like the fluild level and is it leaking wholesale need to be looked at and maybe with these idemds looked at you find it'll work again. once smoking theirs not much that does need a strong repair. I hope I helped you.

Have been dealing with an electrical problem. What could be the problem? I have read so many different things it can be.

make sure the battery posts are shiny clean and the terminals are tight
moving the terminals on dirty posts is corrupting the cpu program in the ECM
so try this
make sure the battery posts are shiny clean the terminals are clean and then fix them tight
use a scan tool to reset the ECM / CPU program and see what happens

AC motor not blowing thru cabin vents

you, don't say if is a car or truck or what year model

but in any case,, if you have a cabin filter it may be cloth up
replace the filter, but this sound like you have a bad main bland door actuator;
most vehicles have three of the bland doors, one
under the driver side, one close to the center and the other one
by the passenger side they not easy to get to them the all are
under the dash once you get to see them check if they move
once they turn on they move open and close the doors under
the housing good luck..

My A/C blows hot air from one side and cold from the other. What's causing this?

Sounds like you have something blocking the duct internally. Could be a piece of foam insulation that has gotten loose inside the duct and intermittently moves "i.e. when I go a round a corner it get cool for a while" that could cause this. Or one of the blend air doors may have a broken hinge, or broken control motor arm allowing it to swing freely.

2004 VW new Beetle A/C won't cool. When turning on compressor it doesn't quite load the engine down any. It was cooling but only sitting still. Once I started driving the air got warmer and

speed up engine with air on and see if compressor turns off. if it does then it is low pressure. if it has electric radiator fans they should be on when the ac is on. if they dont work then it will make the pressure higher

With AC on only the driver receives cool air. The passenger side receives hot air from the dashboard vents. The car was spent the summer stored in the Arizona heat. When started the headlights would not...

There's a possibility that the AC vents are jammed. Try to expose the system behind the dashboard and if nothing else works try to loose them by hand. Then lubricate the moving parts and also your mate could enjoy the cool.

Heat blows out driver vent when ac on

this problem is caused by a defective air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is about center of dadsh in air ducting, it moves the door that diverts air for cold from ac or hot from heater, you must remove the dash to repace it, about a 15 hour job fotr a home mechanic with a factory repair manual, nearly imposs without one.

The car has been sitting for almost a year. I started it today to drive out of necessity. The A/C clutch does not engage. How do i jumper across the pressure switch to add freon? Thanks, Ken

dont!!! an you start to add freon, itll start to cycle the compresor clutch until within safe operating pressure and then it will hold clutch in constant. charge liquid(with can upside down). if wont take freon in this manner than your more than low on charge. running low on charge will quickly destroy pump, especiallt those old harrisons. the refrigerant also cools the compressor. good luck and wear gloves-

2006 Honda Odyssey Hot Air on driver side, cool air on pass. side

The only thing I can think of other than the AC control unit being bad is the small tube under the drivers right knee. If you look down at your right knee you will see a small area that is vented. There is a hose hooked to this vent that pulls air from inside the cabin to tell the ac what the temp is. If this hose is off or pinched the ac unit is not getting the information it needs in order to run correctly. Hope this helps.

AC stops working when cabin temp reaches 109-110

indicates gas pressure and condenser cooling problems
check the condenser fan is working properly and have the gas pressures checked by gauges
check that the evaporator fins are clean and not blocked as ice build up will cause the same indications
