Has to be bench bleed.remove master cylinder need fittings that fit where your lines enter the side of the cylinder {get a bleeder kit at your local parts store}kit will have several different fittings and plastic hose.install fittings attach hoses run your hoses up into the filler cap fill with brake fluid.then take a medium size philip head screwdriver and push in on theplunger on the inside of your master cylinderuntil there is no bubbles going through the plastic tube.samboiv

How to bleed master cylinder 2004 Chevy Malibu

As you would a wheel cylinder,
Except that you use the brake line attaching nut as
The bleedernipple,
bleed the line that goes to the front wheels first
You will also have to bleed the wheel cylinders once you have the air out of the Master cylinder!
Hope this helps

How do i bleed the clutch master cylinder with a pressure bleeder on a 2003 chevy cavalier?

On those models, the slave cylinder is IN the transmission bellhousing so you can't reach it directly, but usually there is a metal hose coming out of the casing with a bleeder screw on it. So you will just need to use that to bleed the clutch, either with a pump or with a helper pumping the clutch, just like you would bleed brakes.

My clutch peddle stays down on my 2004 chevy cavalier

had it happen to my car too. went to advanced autoparts and got a new master cylinder for the clutch ( not brake) and installed it as well as a new clutch kit since i was in there. as a short term, i bleed my clutch to get it home and that provided about 2 or 3 shifts before it lost pressure again. if you can't rev match or are uncomfortable with it have it towed to someplace to do the work or ur house and you can do it

I depressed brake pedal with parking brake on... it went to the floor & brake warning light went on... brake fluid appears okay. 1996 cavalier

If there's no leaks ( check back of tires ) your master cylinder is by passing, replace master cylinder and bleed brake system to get all air out of new master cylinder. ( bench bleed master cylinder first ).
