check the instrument panal fuse. if ok check and be sure if tail lights and etc are working.if they are working and still no panal lights, it maybe there is no power going through dimmer switch. see if power is going to switch. if not coming out of switch it is bad. the wheel where you dim the lights has a rheostat inside and it may have given out.Check your headlight switch. Sometimes the switch goes bad and the dash lights won't light. Replace the switch for the fix. if not the dimmer switch is bad.
Short somewhere or go in dash and make sure plugs are pluged in Cluster Panal or where fuse keep blowing put a piece of there where ever the short is you should smoke.
possibly the brake light switch above the brake pedal is faulty. The transmition lever will not move unless your foot is on the brake, if the switch that senses this action is faulty, the transmision lever will not move.
when you say ABS and Brake lights turns on at the same time, do mean the lamps at the rear of the car are on or are you refering to warning lamps on the dash panal?
if you meant dash panal then check your stop lights are working, if all 3 dont work, this definately points to a faulty brake light switch.
if your stop lights are on all the time, then this also could be either a faulty switch, or the switch has been dislodged from its bracket above the brake pedal.
Its called a lambda sign, its the same as a check engine light. The car is likely from another market, probably Canada originally. You will have to take it somwhere and have the codes read out from the car and diagnosed.
yes there is a fuse located in the fuse box it should be listed under accessories either use a test light to figure out if it is bad or pull it and replace it with a new one
this is not a easy fix and it does not have a bulb to illuminate it the illumination is part of a circuit board and the whole unit requires replacementand it is quite expensive, sorry
