I had that problem too. It started as a slight squealing in the front driver side the brakes squealing. After a while it got louder and very annoying to the point where I could hear it with the windows up and the music blasting! I was low on brake fluid and that seemed to stop it, I've not heard it since. I replaced my brakes a few weeks after, still no noise.

Probably your brake pads are worn.

It sounds to me like your battery is down? Make sure the battery has a full charge. Take the serpentine belt off and see if it cranks any better. Make sure none of the accessory pulleys are frozen.

Why does my car squeck when i turn or brake

If it's the same sound while turning or breaking I would suspect it to be the CV joint. If not you likely have 2 issues. Steering pumps tend to make noise when turned all the way to the stops (don't do that). Brakes squeal when the pads need to be replaced or there is grit between the pad and the disk.

Loud squecking noise comes when steering

change the power steering fluid it should be changed around every 5 years or so. if its not been done in a long time the oil oil can become acidic so you may need to do this twice. there are videos on how to change the oil and flush the system, then use the recommended oil for your vehicle. if you still have a squeaking on steering after you may need a new pumps as the seals have gone on the internal seal and oil is bypassing round the pump.

The 2003 Chevy Impala I have keeps over heating. My father used a flushing kit to help it. It was okay for about two days after that then it started overheating again. Now when I turn on the A/C it only...

sounds like your drive belt is slipping on the A/C pulley as far as the noise, could be the A/C pulley clutch going out. On the overheating, check for a high point air bleed valve or bolt. I have many times had air trapped in the block that causes over heating. Also check that the thermostat is installed in correct direction.

High pitched squealing sound while driving...sound speeds up when you accelerate. it is a constant sound...not just when turning corners....seems like it is related to the engine speed....just a continuous...

Try checking your brakes, some might need replacement due worn out. If you open your brakes, you will find that your wear limit indicator is causing the squeal / francisjdies
