You need special tools to remove the door panel without permanently damaging the panel. you can get them at any auto parts store. The armrest has screws that have to be removed. Pull up on the panel with all the buttons on it while prying on it with a flat blade screw driver. You'll find more screws to take out there. Now for the special tools. Use them to locate and to pry up on the door panel. the tool releases the metal or plastic fasteners without ruining the door panel.
do not drive it. have the fault checked immediately. check whether there is oil in your engine. Something may have gone wrong yesterday!!! Driving without soring the problem out could cost you very dear, engines are not supposed to make rattling sounds at all when being driven!!!!!!!!!!!
soulds like you have a tork converter thats locking up..you can unhook the wires to the tork converter...this is stop it from locking in...the trans will still shift...it just wont have the lockup converter working..its supposed to save fuel...but i had one i drove for many years with it unhooked and didnt make any difference
