Question about 1996 BMW 318
Please provide some information to raplace thermostat and the location as well as the termatic fan switch location. My car temperature is getting red light, the upper hose is hot and the lower hose is cold . Please advise
Follow the upper hose to the engine. The hose should be connected to the neck of the thermostat housing. Remove the housing and replace the thermostat. I suggest you buy the Chilton manual or equivalent for that car. That will help you a lot. Most parts stores have them or you can buy them online.
