That hose is a vent tube for the trans. It just sits there. dont clogg it/plug it or your trans will start leaking. Just leave it.

I need to know where the vacum line from the ball shaped object under the hood of my 95 s10 with a 2.2 engine conects to its off and i cant find the place it is supose to hook to

That is the vacuum resevoir tank and I believe it hooks onto a fitting at the base of the throttle body; it should be a small, half inch long tiny pipe. Take off air cleaner which sits on top of throttle body and look on base where it fastens to the engine manifold.

I need a vac line an hose diagram for 98 blazer

this hose might go to your intake manifold vacuum source, it should go to a vacuum modulator on the transmission. it changes shifting based on the engine load.
good luck

I needed my power steering fluid topped off - as I pulled out of the Jiffy Lube, my engine was suddenly running very rough. What could they have done and how can I fix it?

they could have bumped a vacuum line that was in bad shape and possibly broke, a vacuum line off will cause a car to run rough.

I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima that I found one end of a vacuum line disconnected from somewhere. I can't find where it is supposed to be connected to! I looked all over with a flashlight and can't find...

If this is out ot the top of the tranny,it is a vent line ,for fluid expansion or when you add fluid ,as long as it is not plugged up ,it's fine

1998 Seville emergency brake won't release

the emergency brake is controlled by vacuume from the motor. first look under your dash on the driver side toward the top of your ebake assembley, make sure the vacuume line is hooked up. then check under the pass side of the dash, there is a black box with several color vac lines going to it make sure they are pluged in.there is a vac line going into the firewall mak sure that is hooked up, it leads to the box on the inside of the dash. if all is connected make sure you have vacuum, if so id say you have a bad vacuum ball located at the top of the ebrake assembley,or a bad ebrake assembley at worst.

1990 Nissan Maxima transmission top vacumn line

I believe the line you are talking about is a vent line not a vacuum line. It should go tp a metal tube that is in a "U" shape. This bolts to one of the bolts on the transmission.

1989 jeep wrangler what are the vacuum lines going to my front axle?

Vacuum lines at front axle are part of your 4x4 control system. When changing oil or doing anything under the vehicle, always good to take a look at them and make sure they are secure, and in good shape. This eliminates problems while on the road.

Vacuum line on top of my 4l60

some trannys have a hard line that comes out on top of trans. all your old 350's and 400 turbos had them, thats just a breather tube for trans., it don't hook to anything. just a breather. i believe thats what your talking about.
