Question about 2007 BMW 525xi Sedan

Bmw 520i 1984

The car it is model 520 i year 1984
the engine is hiting quickly.
the left pipe going to the radiator it is hot but the right one it is cold.
the engine tourn up and down if I push speed pedal (the car stoped in place).
In the motor block I can hear a slighty metalic sound like it is not enough oil comming up.

It sounds like the thermostat is bad check that you havent damaged your head

I am driving bmw 520i 1992 model,all 6spark plugs are black,what causes that?

Many possibilities. Does it run well? Idle well? Tail pipe black too? 1st, coolant temp sensor bad. Also weak spark (coil/module), leaky cold start injector, bad valve guide seals, clogged exhaust/converter, bad O2 sensor.

Are you losing antifreeze from your radiator? If so, check the radiator for air bubbles with engine running. If bubbles are coming up in the radiator, you could have a head gasket problem.

Is the water tank the windshield washer fluid or the radiator overflow tank??

If it is the washer fluid tank, fill it with "below 32F" type fluid. If it is the radiator over flow tank, it would appear to me that the radiator fluid is too watered down or weak and is not freeze resistant. The radiator fluid should be 50/50 mix of Prestone or other make of radiator fluid and water. This is to save your engine and radiator from bursting. Ice takes up move volume that water (this is why Ice floats on water). Inside of a pipe, radiator or engine block, this can be devisating. You could crack your radiator or engine block. Hopefully who ever serviced your car last used the correct fluid. You might want to get this checked before more damage happens to your car.

the rqad hoses are dont from top and botom
you do not need to remove the rad fan to repair the hoses
you need to jack up the car and remove the bely pan if the lower rad hose goes to **** and fix it from under side if top hose goes then it ir replaced from thr top

there are two pipes going into the car under the hood right in the middle of the hoods back wall check if they hot if no then you will have to clean your radiator system and heater boiler

I have a 1987 325i that i am trying to bring back to life. I replaced the timing belt and water pump and all belts and hoses. Now the car getting hot. I have replaced the fan clutch like 2.5 years ago....

If you have blead the air from the system then its a Clogged radiator. When an engine gets old then particals of rust build at the bottom of the radiator core. The reason for this is the hot water comming from the engine goes in the bottom pipe and back in the top pipe the core of the radiator acts as a strainer. When you look in the top of the radiator it look's ok but is clogged at the bottom. As it is particals of hard rust radiator flush can't disolve them you can even wash out the system until the water is clear but the hard rust will still be stuck in the core. I have tried all rad. flush power washing etc. It may help a bit but not a cure. You will need to replace the radiator. Hope this help's Cheers

I have a bmw 92 325i. The engine keep over heating and then pipe connected to the radiator come off. I fix the pipe but it still over heat. The coolant level is good and it run with out over heating...

I think you are referring to the radiator hose. There is one at the top of your radiator and one at the bottom.
It sounds like you had a build-up of pressure from overheating, which caused your hose to come off.
A major culprit for this is a sticking thermostat. If the thermostat does not allow coolant to flow through then engine, it will overheat quickly. This is not good for your engine. I would replace the thermostat. It is inside of a housing on your engine, which the top radiator hose is connected to. Be sure to get a new gasket for the housing.

How do u bleed a radiator on a 1999 bmw 520i

next to the fill tank ( reservoir ) there is a small round cap on the hose with a Philips screw head ,,fill radiator and run the engine let it warm up then open the screw let the air out repeat few time till no more air bubbles come out good luck ,,,Joe
