SOURCE: I'm looking for a raidator for a 95 Chevy Z71 350

It depends on the radiator you need to know how many rows of cooling tubes there are 3 4 or 5 You can get it re cored cheaper than buying a used radiator. Gm and Ford and Chrysler all use different radiators and the input out put tubes will be different and the Transmission lines can be located in the wrong place. Call a Radiator shop and ask how much to replace the core and pressure test I still say you pay about the same as a wrecking yard as they charge half of new so re-coring is best bet. If you need help post an answer to the mail you get from this site on this answer.

Heatdoesn't work, A/C blows out warm air and defrosts blow out cold air

Right think the problem is the heater core is blocked with corrosion ,now remove the bottom hose from the rad and the heater hoses then flush every which way you can including through the heater core reversing direction then ,refit all the hoses fill with water only and see if heater works if so the remove the bottom hose again and drain ,then add a minium of 3 litres of antifreeze ,its a anti corrosion agent as well as antifreeze and without it the internal of the engine will corrode and the slurry will block the heater first then the radiator ,

The heat blows cold and hot. Is it the resistor module or the themostat

The resistor controls fan speed, not temp.
If the heat comes and goes, it could be the thermostat, or the radiator could be low on coolant, or have air pockets, or one of the blend doors may not be working correctly.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

No heat just cold air

Is the gauge showing the engine is warming up to normal temp ?
Are the heater hoses getting hot ?
If the heater core is getting hot, it could be a blend door problem. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the ac evaporator among other things.

Ac will not blow thru ac vents, only thru defrost vents.

if vent doors are operated by vacuum check for loose or broken vacuum hoses in the engine compartment , or check the fuse box for any ac/heat fuses if it is a electricaly controoled system

first thing to do is make sure yo have enough anti freeze in the radiator, once yo know yo have that you can drive the car.

secondly the problem could be a bad radiator fan motor which does not come on when it is supossed to, as long as the wind is blowing against the radiator it will not over heat so again check the radiatro fan motor and the fan relay.
