Volvo v50 fuse from battery to starting motor 175 amp where to obtain one?

Usually under the dash to left of driver. Some fuses are under hood in fuse box there.

no mark need special tools

battery - just goes dead on the v50 and s40 2004-05 - no indication or warnings. try a battery swap & see how you go.

Check battery voltage (engine off= 12V; engine on=14.4V), then check fuses, then connect with Volvo diagnostic tool and check for error codes.

The fusible link amp rating is based on the output of the alternator. I would assume your alternator is no more than 90 amps -- a temp fuse rated @ 100 amps should do it.

Check the passenger foot area. The CEM is located there and many time passengers unplug connections with their feet unknowingly.

There is only thin insulation between the foot area and the CEM.

CEM= Central electronics module.

Some fuses & relays are in the motor compartment (near battery).

Other fuses, relays and the main computer are under the dashboard on the passenger side.
