Question about 1991 Nissan Sentra 2 Door
91 Sentra with 1600 engine and automatic trans. The car runs fine when cold. but when it is warm it will act like the key been shut off until the car slows down to around 35 mph. The problem at its worst at highway speeds. If I accelerate to 65-70 mph it will run fin for 30 seconds then lose all power until it coasts down to 35-40 mph. I can duplicate this at lower speeds by keeping the RPM over 3000rpm for a couple of minutes. the check engine light never comes on. I have replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump, checked fuel pressure, checked the various EGR valves.I have not pulled the EGR valve but I can hear it operate when tested with a vacuum pump. I have even replaced the computer, Oxygen sensor, temp sensor, spark plugs. Willing to retest
Just installed used engine in a 91 nissan sentra. my distributor and computer off old engine which was running but this engine will not hit what do i need to check for

NO, LIMPIA EL SENSOR DE AIRE, POR LO REGULAR SE LLENA DE GRASA EN LA VENTILACION, A VECES COMO QUE TIRA UN FALLO QUE QUISIERA APAGARSE, PERO ES ESO. PRUEBA CON UN CEPILLO DE DIENTES QUE NO TE SIRVA Y CON ESO LIMPIA EL SENSOR, SOLO QUITA LA TUBERIA PLASTICA Y DONDE EMPIEZA EL FULLINYECTION ALLI CEPILLAS CON UN LIMPIADOR.

Remove the front 02sensor and drive the car like that, remove means complety take it apart from exaust, if problem goes away or gets so much better then your catalitic converter at the exaust is restricted and need a new one
