Can'tfind a starter for a dodge stratus 1997

If it is the Dodge Stratus 1997 with the 2.4L SFI DOHC 4 cylinder engine, then Autozone has the starter for $127.99 with a $62.00 core charge. I just checked and it is shown as available, so they should be able to get it for you. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Replace starter, 1997 dodge caravan. where is it located and how easy is it?

THERE ARE 4 DIFFERENT ENGINE COMBINATIONS THIS VAN COULD HAVE. ONE 4 CYLINDER AND 3 SIX CYLINDERS. THEY ALL ARE RELATIVELY EASY. LABOR GUIDE SHOWS THE MOST DIFFICULT ONE ON A SIX CYLINDER TO BE 1 HOUR. THE STARTER IS ACCESSED UNDER VEHICLE REQUIRING A GOOD JACK AND SUITABLE JACK STANDS. MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT BATTERY BEFORE SERVICING ANY ELECTRICAL COMPONENT!!! HOPE THIS HELPS!!

My 98 dodge avenger wont start i think its the starter pleas help

Sounds like the solenoid not grounded if you try to start and all it does is click then the solenoid is not grounded and if it's built on to the starter which it might be you might have to replace the starter. Try cleaning the wires going to the starter before you buy a new they may be corroded.

My car will not start

u are going to have to replace the starter solenoid or the starter solenoid contacts, they get burned and eroded from the years of use and finally don't make a connection, most people just put a new starter in, but the contacts are easy to replace, here is a link to those parts.

My 1997 Dodge Avenger's engine won't start

Try cam and/or crank sensor. If crank to cam timing isn't detected properly it'll crank all day but won't start. I had similar problem on my 2.5L V6 Avenger....drove home fine, no engine light, next morning it cranked, but wouldn't start. The crank sensor was faulty.
