I have a 1998 concorde changed the fans both hoses checked fuses there ok but the fans dont turn on think maybe the coolant sensor

temp switch on the radiator controls the fans. its screwed into the radiator and has a plug on it this turns the fans on when at the right temp to cool down. also there is a fuse just for this in engine bay fuse box.

I dont think my fan is working

there is a fuse for every load on the car, or car will catch fire. sooner or later......
the other fact is , many fuses are shared. some have 15 loads. (park)
think fan is working, ?
which one.?
1: cab heater
2: A/C condenser fan (extreme front of car)
3: the RAD fans, (see behind RAD)

tell fan? and I can tell which fuse.
the glove box guide , has a fuse page. lost that?

my guess, ? is the fan is OUT side the drivers CAB
"think" tell me its fan 2 or 3 above.
the tests for those fans is in the FSM.

the A/C fan turns on if A/C or defrost is selected. unless its
N.Pole weather. (it has logic that cuts this fan , under some wild conditions (unstated by you) what country? what latitude?.

the RAD fan, comes on , if you. (location not stated so, wild guess...)
1: drive 20miles
2: park and idle
3: as coolant passes 200F, near 230F, the rad fans come on
this is because the RAD is near useless , parked. (no air flow)

The FSM covers these tests.

RAD = engine coolant Radiator.

Fan will not turn off

which fan? Interior fan, or radiator cooling fan? Is it the radiator cooling fan, or the fan controlled by the air-conditioning?

Run the vehicle, turn on and off the air-conditioning to identify which of the fans in the engine bay is the one triggered by the air-con and which is the primary cooling fan.
If the primary cooling fan is permanently engaged, then first try replacing it's relay as it may have fused closed.

Does the radiator fan of toyota touring immediatly the car had been started

I would assume you have electric fans on your radiator. If you have air conditioning and it is on - then fans will run whenevr the air is on.

If you dont have air or it is turned off - and the electric fans start up immediately and dont turn off - then likely you have a stuck relay. Check your fuse area in the engine bay - there should be a series of relays. Check your fuse cover or service book for which one runs the fans. swap with another relay just to try. if they dont come on - bingo - go spend $10 and buy a new relay

My beetle 2001 radiator fan no working and aircond also come out without cool air, engin overheating problem. i send to workshop and check wiring and fuse all in good condition. please give advise what...

Because there is no supply to the fan , it is not working. So you need to check the fan with a direct link to test , is working check the RELAY box for the fan relay, next check on the thermistor, the control circuit of the temperature controller to trigger the fan relay. Also check on the fuse to the relay unit.
The AC cooling must be checked only after this circuit is working as a hot engine will not give a good result. cehck the gas pressure, check the pumping pressure to confirm the compressor.
Also the eveporator, condenser, pressure switch must be checked independantly.

Our Regal's a/c fan was stuck turned on, even w/ the ignition turned off. Draining the battery to dead. My wife took it to a Buick dealer who's only solution at that time was to pull the fuse out. So...

the radiator fans use a fuse, relay, temperature sensor which the computer controls to turn on the fans at the specified don`t say if this problem occurred when the blower motor fan fuse was is not uncommon for the rad cooling fans to seize and not work, the blower motor uses an electronic resistor block on the air box under the hood with i think about 6 wires in the plug and is about 3.5"long and 1"wide.held by 2 bolts(screws).this is feed power all the time and when the control switch is turned for different fan speeds the switch grounds the times the resistor shorts causing the fan to run continually.i think you need a new resistor to fix this problem.

I have a 2005 saab 9-7x 4.2l i have the code p0495 and its saying somthing with the fan speed. i dont have any fan noises or anything like that. how would i go about fixing this

You have fuses and relays for the fan speed. It has a low and high speed each with thier own fuses and relays. I would start there. They are located under the hood in the fuse/ relay junction block.
Also the fans are controlled by the ecm computer and the engine coolant temperture sensor. Along with the air conditioning system. It is possible to have one of the fans short out and not make any noise. you can check the fans by spinning them, if one seems to drag it is going out. If you can move them in and out from the motor they are going bad. Let me know.

Are the radiator fans on the 1999 RAV4 controlled by a fuse? The fans on my vehicle stopped spinning leading to overheat conditions.

The fans are controlled by a temp gauge, the PCM, the relays and are fused. Start with the easiest the fuse and then go towards the relays. Try jumping past teh relays to see if they run. The PCM tells the fans to go on but if the fuse is popped or the relay is bad they'll never go on.
